Finally I can show you what I have been working on last autumn: The Carousel Sweater! It’s a knitting pattern for a cute eyelet sweater with a deep V-neckline. You can wear the neckline either in the back – for a sexy but sophisticated look – or to the front – which is perfect for layering it over a shirt. It just came out this weekend in the current (and sadly final) issue of Clotheshorse knitting magazine(Fall 14). You can find the pattern for Carousel on ravelry. But please make sure that you’ll also have a look at all patterns of this issue on their page. The lookbook is just gorgeous and I just love the pictures for Carousel and the other patterns in the Carnival spread!
And here come for you to enjoy: my submission sketch, a nighttime picture of the finished sweater (in small on my a-bit-bigger-than-small dressform) and the lovely picture from the magazine. I like how this illustrates how the essence of the Carousel sweater never changed, even if they are highly different!
